On April 11th, the Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer County, in commemoration of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (April 7th-13th, 2019) hosted a Candlelight Vigil to raise awareness about crime victim issues and rights and introduce the community to the important resources and services available.
Victims of all crimes were honored through empowering stories from survivors at our Candlelight Vigil at the Historical Courthouse in Downtown Lapeer. We would like to thank all of the individuals that courageously shared their story and empowered our community as well as LACADA and the Lapeer County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for partnering with us for this event. It was amazing to see our community come together in support of all crime victims.
