CAC receives grant funding from LCCF for Multidisciplinary Team Training

On June 6th & 7th, the Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer County provided a free two-day training to all of our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) members including law enforcement, child protective service workers (CPS), Lapeer County Prosecutors Office and medical professionals at the EMS Building located in Lapeer. The training was presented by Forensic Psychologist, Scott Allen Johnson, MD, LP, DABPS, ACFEI who has been educating law enforcement, probation, prosecutors, and forensic mental health professionals, etc. about sexual predators and physically violent offenders for over 27 years. Throughout the training our MDT members were provided vital information to assist them throughout their investigation of such crimes.

The Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer County would like to thank the Lapeer County Community Foundation for granting over $3,000 in funds to CAC Lapeer! Without these grant funds, the CAC would not have been able to provide this vital training to our Multidisciplinary Team members!
