Shelby began her internship with the CAC in May of 2020. Shelby is a 21-year-old senior at Liberty University and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. She plans to pursue a masters in Human Services Counseling at Liberty University, located in Lynchburg, VA. She has played ice hockey for 18 years and has helped Liberty University win two national titles and the league’s first WMCHL playoff title. When she is not playing hockey, she enjoys boating on Lake St. Clair with her friends and family. After college, she plans to go into either Child Advocacy or Child Protective Services.
